US peptide purchasing requirements are not defined by a single universal checkout rule. For qualified laboratory buyers, the objective is clear: obtain accurately identified, analytically verified material with documentation that supports reproducible in-vitro research. What US Peptide Purchasing Requirements Typically Cover

Research-grade peptides are commonly sold under a research-use-only, or RUO, designation. This classification is central to the purchasing process. RUO materials are supplied for laboratory research and analytical investigation, not as approved drugs, dietary supplements, food ingredients, or products for personal use.

A compliant supplier should state these restrictions directly. Purchasers should be prepared to confirm that they understand them.
